Our Story

Somewhere over the rainbow, on the beautiful island of Maui, Chloe Kai was born.

A shop that is much more than that – it's a feeling of paradise, raw beauty and an authentic connection to the tranquil land and sea surrounding us. Our brand is named after the two lights of our world - Chloe & Landen 'Kai'. 

Hawaii has always been the backdrop to our dreams. My husband and I, along with our two little adventurers, Chloe Noelani and Landen Kai are drawn to the islands, a slower pace of life and a deeper connection to this beautiful earth. From the lush jungles of Bali, to the sparkling lagoons in Bora Bora, to our ‘home’ base in the Hawaiian Islands, each culture has humbled us and connected our souls to a slower, more blissful way of life. 

By creating curated collections, featuring local Hawaii designers and products inspired by life-changing destinations, we are happy to share this space with all minimalist island-lovers. Each product has been carefully selected and tells its own story. We feel blessed every day to be a very small part of Hawaii and will always give back by supporting local designers, along with others who understand the raw magic of island life – where designs are simply an extension of nature.
